COVID-19 Response

Coronavirus (COVID-19) has been a unique time in the lives of students in the Tri-Valley.  Coronavirus has both presented challenges for students and opportunities for student voice.

Challenges
  • Been a difficult and uncertain time
  • Presented students with new challenges
  • Furthered inequalities that existed in our local, national and global communities
  • Illuminated the ways in which the the Tri-Valley school districts lack student voice
Opportunities
  • Highlighted the importance of student organizing
  • Provided us a moment to reimagine a future based in community care and empathy
  • Allows students to create stronger networks in and out of school
  • Highlights the importance of caring for our classmates

Students for Social Change is dedicated to supporting students with resources during these difficult times and providing opportunities to uplift young people's voices. Students for Social Change will be updating our social media to keep young people in the loop.
